As a non-profit project of the Tides Center , AIDS-Free World is able to accept contributions of stocks and securities. Your gift of a publicly-traded stocks or securities will be exempt from capital gains tax. We have developed a system to make contributing in this manner as effortless as possible. Tax receipts are valued on the basis of the closing price on the date that you transfer shares to the AIDS-Free World/Tides Center brokerage account.
